Hands

Samuel has found his hands and is learning to use them.  It's fun to watch him try to get things now.  He focuses intensely on the object and slowly moves his hands in the direction of the object he wants.  He directs his bottle to make sure it is flowing the way he wants it to, and has learned to push it away when he wants a break and pull it close when he is ready to eat again.  If he sees something close to his face that he wants to taste, he grabs and pulls it to his mouth.  And, typical of any baby, he tries to shove both hands into his mouth at once...often choking himself in the process.  Here are some recent pictures of his hands.
