Grandma T comes for a visit

Grandma T was finally able to make her way across the country to meet Samuel.  Apparently, it was love at first site for her :)  Samuel got spoiled by her.  She held him, rocked him, fed him bottles, played with him, and read to him.  She also helped him feel better after his shots.  She suggested the warm bath that finally calmed down my screaming boy.

We also took a special trip to the local gardens to see the butterfly exhibit in the conservatory (which is amazingly warm on a cold day).  We snagged a few great photos there to document her visit.  And, no, we didn't plan to wear matching clothes...that was just a random occurance that made for nice pictures.

As we walked through the Orchid Room in the Conservatory, a beautiful tropical blue butterfly landed on Grandma T.  Mike and I first saw this kind of butterfly when we were on our honeymoon and have been trying to capture it with its wings open ever since (they usually land and close their wings, showing the brown backside).  This one landed on Grandma T showing us its wings.  Too cool!

Finally, this pictures has to be my favorite we've taken since Samuel was born.  My two favorite guys...love...
