Developmental Milestones

We went to the doctor for Samuel's 2 month check-up Tuesday.  He is now 14lb, 5 oz, and his head circumference in 16 inches.  That made the doctor happy because it means that his brain is growing, which allows for all his other development to happen.  Developmentally, he's moving right along.  He is now looking at faces, recognizing some people (specifically Mommy and Daddy), and smiling at us regularly.  He is finally getting better at his tummy time skill and can hold his head up in the prone position for a couple of minutes (although he still doesn't like it).  He is moving his arms and legs with intentional actions, such as batting or kicking at toys.  He is beginning to sleep with a pattern and now he usually gets excited about eating.
